Alidade Studio provides free calculation tools and written material about two traditions: Western astrology and Chinese metaphysics. The tools compute. The written material interprets. Both are offered for cultural interest and personal reflection.
Nothing on this site is medical, psychological, legal, financial or professional advice, and nothing here predicts future events or outcomes. A reading is not a diagnosis, not a recommendation, and not a substitute for a qualified professional. Do not make a consequential decision — health, money, legal, or about another person — on the basis of anything you read here.
We aim for the calculations to be exactly right, and we publish their known limits rather than hiding them. The Element Balance Finder currently does not correct for true solar time by birth longitude, and its solar-term table is stored to the minute. Those limits, and the verification behind the engine, are described on the tool itself. Beyond that, we make no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or present our content as your own.
This is a pre-launch build. It is operated by the team behind Alidade Studio; the operating entity, a contact address and the jurisdiction whose law governs these terms will be published on this page before any product goes on sale. While nothing is on sale, these terms govern your use of the free tools and written material only.
The text, design and code of this site belong to Alidade Studio. The underlying traditions — the Four Pillars, the zodiac, the elements — belong to nobody, and we claim no ownership over them.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed; a material change will be flagged on the homepage.
